VALERIE NARTE is a 90s Nicktoons kid born and raised in the city of Honolulu, Hawaii. She developed an interest in independent films during high school, inspiring her to write and direct her own stories. She attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she studied narrative video production. Since then, she has worked in various roles in media, including: Director of Photography, Writer, and Content Moderator for The Ellen DeGeneres Show’s website, Ellentube. Valerie’s films express her unique humor, both captivating and thought-provoking.
GINGER MORRIS is a filmmaker whose roles include: co-director and cinematographer of the short film, TRALCULUS (2017), editor of DIAGNOSED PINK (2016), and writer and director of BUTT LOVE (2016). All three films were official selections at the Hawaii International Film Festival’s Student Showcase. More recently, she has worked as editor on REEL WĀHINE OF HAWAIʻI (2017), a docu-series about women filmmakers in Hawaii’s film industry.
