VALERIE NARTE (Director/Writer) was born and raised in Honolulu and received her B.A. from UH Mānoa where she studied narrative video production. Since then, she has worked in various roles in media, including cinematographer, video editor, and content moderator for The Ellen DeGeneres Show’s website, Ellentube. Valerie’s photography work has been published in The New York Times, NEON Magazin, and Monocle.
GINGER MORRIS (Writer/Editor) is a filmmaker whose roles include: co-director and cinematographer of the short film, TRALCULUS (2017), editor of DIAGNOSED PINK (2016), and writer and director of BUTT LOVE (2016). All three films were official selections at the Hawaii International Film Festival’s Student Showcase. More recently, she has worked as editor on REEL WĀHINE OF HAWAIʻI (2017), a docu-series about women filmmakers in Hawaii’s film industry.
